Homemade Pumpkin Face Mask


This time of year you might have some leftover pumpkin. Either you didn't use all that you bought or you have a pumpkin or two laying around that will go to waste.

Well here is something you can do with it.

Treat yourself to a pumpkin facial. You can use fresh or canned pumpkin to be renewed as your skin soaks up all of those nutrients from this seasonal squash.

Pumpkins are full of vitamin C and vitamin E, as well as other antioxidants and minerals that will brighten and soften your skin. 

This mask can be whipped up in a jiffy. Here's how;

 1 c of pureed and cooked or canned pumpkin
 1/2 tsp of Coconut Oil
 1 tsp milk or plain yogurt
 1/2 tsp local honey 

Wash your face

Mix everything together in a bowl and apply to your face. You can leave it for 10-20 minutes. Grab a good book and enjoy the moment. 

P.S. it's ok if it gets on your lips and you lick it off but avoid your eye area.
