I saw this V8 Healthy Greens juice the last trip to the store and decided to give it a try.
I don't usually put processed juice in my smoothies, however when I read on the ingredients it didn't have anything I couldn't pronounce and it says 'nothing artificial add'.
I've used it every day this week. The recipe I used today was the best so far
In a blender add
1/2- 1 cup of V8 Healthy Greens
1-2 cup of unsweetened original almond milk
1 Tlb (heaping) collagen
1 scoop vanilla protein power. I used Natures's Basket non-GMO SOY lecithin, Whey Protein Power. Natural Vanilla Flovor from Giant Eagle. This is something else new I'm trying.

I've always been a curious person, I'm someone who loves to learn and will often take the path less traveled to enhance my journey.

Here in Ohio my apple trees are hanging low with fruit and it's time for me to start cooking our bounty.
Guilt Free Cooked Apples are some we enjoy whenever apples are in season.
They are such a yummy and easy dessert or as a chutney over pork. Or even as a side dish with grilled chicken.
Have everything ready and start cooking as you sit down for dinner, they will be done when you are finished with dinner so you can serve a hot dessert. Add a dollop of plain no sugar added yogurt.
Slice 1 1/2 apple for each person (I like granny smith, or any cooking/baking apple)
1/8 cup water for every 4 apples
1/8 teaspoon cinnamon for every two apples
1 tablespoon local honey for every two apples
Heat water in skillet, core and slice apples add to skillet. Allow them to cook until they are just turning soft. Sprinkle cinnamon, turn off heat and cover with a tight lid. Drizzle with honey just before serving. Boom!! A delicious dessert!

Do you love bacon but hate the clean-up?
Wouldn't it be easier to cook your eggs while the bacon is cooking and have everything done at the same time?
Here's how you can!!
Preheat your oven to *400
Grab a cookie sheet, tinfoil and your bacon.
Cut a sheet of foil just bigger than your cookie sheet, fold up the edges of the foil to make a shallow pan and put it on the sheet. Lay the bacon out with each slice touching the other.
Put it in the preheated oven for 7-10 minutes or just when it's beginning to brown, then flip it over for another 3-5 minutes. *watch it at this point...it cooks really fast
Once it's as crispy as you like it remove it from the oven and allow it to drain on a paper towel lined plate.
If you like to keep the bacon drippings pour it into your container if not...your missing out or some great flavor...remove the bacon from the paper towel and lay it on the foil to absorb the drippings.
